A Peek of Denim!

You may have noticed that denim is all over the damn place. The great thing about using denim subtly, though, is that it somehow can staple together a look nicely. A jean additive can be supplied in many tones, but a nice classic mid-wash blue just looks good with everything! How cute are these girls.

Purple on Purple: Don't Be Afraid.

I really love this idea. These colours remind me of cozy Autumn afternoons. Must try soon.

Wearing Floral: Don't Be Afraid.

Floral is typically really popular this time of year, but I personally have a hard time appreciating flower print cause it's usually overkill. There is hope in using floral subtly-- or at lease as subtle as you can wearing flowers on you-- and the possibilities are endless when you have simple pieces as button-downs, coats, blazers, and belts to sort of "tone down" such an ornate dress-choice. These girls have a keen eye for working floral effortlessly into a look.

The Red Pant: Don't Be Afraid.

I usually stay away from the color red- I've maybe three red pieces in my whole closet, and But my wonderful workplace just got in an assortment of J Brands for our pre-Spring line, and among them were these black cherries that I haven't been able to put out of mind, so I gave in. The color is the perfect red for someone like me who still wants to include something ruddy for fall, and the shade deviates from the typical obnoxious, too-bright reds that I just don't want. I will probably struggle with wearing them so I thought it would be prudent to make a post with some looks that do the shade justice. VOILA.

You can find them on various places online. Unfortunately they're kind of pricey, but here's one shop.

The Must-Have Olive Field Jacket

Okay so these things are everywhere and who can fault that...they're awesome. The perfect combo of rough and sexy, the perfect additive to dress-down an outfit while protecting you from unpleasant weather. I picked one up at Bloomingdales for a stupidly cheap price cause all their outerwear is half off and they clearly want to make room for Spring. In love. I put together a few of the bazillion ways to wear a Field Jacket just to illustrate how you really can't go wrong with them. You can have literally the most boring outfit on and WALA you're instantly the coolest girl around. Best part is, they look good on all silhouettes and body types. Ladies, get on it if you're missing one-- cop a Military Jacket; you won't regret it .
